I took my entire net worth to the city park–one million dollars in unmarked bills, a miscellany of ones, fives, twenties, fifties, and hundreds. It filled three rather large suitcases, which made it very difficult to carry. The squirrels were impressed, so much so in fact that I also read them a sonnet and a prose poem that I had written. I attracted a very large audience. Chipmunks and birds gathered. They were totally amazed, I think, that such a wealthy man could also be sensitive. I only wish I remembered to bring them popcorn. Next time maybe.
